Overview This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature. If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. Facilities This campground is located along Rock Creek, near where Rock Creek meets the Chiwawa River. 20 miles up the Chiwawa River from Lake Wenatchee, the campground offers trailhead access to Rock Creek and Estes Butte Trails. No. Rock Creek Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
From Leavenworth, head southwest on US-2 West for 15 miles. Then turn right onto WA-207 North and go 4.4 miles. Go right on Chiwawa Loop Road and stay right at the intersection. Then take the second left onto Chiwawa River Road/Forest Road 6200 and follow it for 14.6 miles.
