About this place

This boat-in campground adjacent to a Forest Service Guard Station offers a dock and boat basin with an eleven boat capacity. A ¼-mile trail connects to Refrigerator Harbor Campground & road to Holden Village. Open for DAY USE ONLY , Overnight camping is prohibited.

No. Lucerne Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.

How do I get to Lucerne Campground?

From Chelan, boat approximately 40 miles to Lucerne Landing (there are no roads that connect the City of Chelan to Lucerne). Lucerne Campground is on the south shore adjacent to Forest Service Guard Station. Or, from Chelan, travel south on Highway 97 Alternate for 3 miles. Turn right onto Southshore Road and go approximately 17 miles to Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park. From the Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park boat launch, boat up lake approximately 25 miles to Lucerne. Note: The Lady of the Lake and Stehekin Ferry provide commercial passenger ferry service between Chelan, Fields Point Landing, and Stehekin with stops available at Fields Point, Prince Creek, Moore Point, Lucerne and other locations along Lake Chelan. These commercial ferry services provide a variety of transportation options for the public. Please check their websites for availability, fees, and scheduling: ladyofthelake.com and www.stehekinferry.com. Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park is a popular boat launch for accessing many up lake recreation sites via personal boat.
