Overview Jones Bay is one of Lake Roosevelt’s smaller, more rustic campgrounds. The campground is mostly gravel and packed dirt, with not much vegetation, on the lake shore. It can be reached by boat and has a boat launch and dock. Jones Bay can be also be reached by car, but may be difficult to find. Recreation Jones Bay is popular with people that like a more remote primitive site. There is access to the water with a small boat ramp. Fishing is great from the water or the shore. Facilities Jones Bay is a reservation only campground with 9 sites. There are picnic tables and fire pits at each site. You will need to bring your own drinking water. Limited trash services. Pack it in pack it out. Natural Features Jones Bay is located at the bottom of a ravine that opens up into a beautiful bay on Lake Roosevelt. It's located in the brush stepe so has a desert feel to it with the bitter antelope brush and sage. Nearby Attractions Great fishing is just a boat ride away. Beautiful views up and down the lake. Charges & Cancellations All changes an cancellations must be done through recreation.gov. Late Cancellations or Cancellations within the Cut-off Window Individual Campsites: A customer who cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival will pay a $10.00 service fee AND forfeit the first night's use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a one-night reservation will forfeit the entire amount paid and will not be subject to an additional service fee.

Maximum Stay: Camping is limited to 14 consecutive nights per campground within a 30-day period and not more than 60 total nights per calendar year anywhere within Lake Roosevelt. These limits apply to all camping activities within Lake Roosevelt. No more than two vehicles and ten people at each campsite. Check-In: 1:00 PM. Check-Out Time: Noon. Quiet Hours: From 10 pm to 6 am. This includes generators. Nighttime Closures: Campgrounds are closed to non-registered campers from 10 pm to 6am. Site Occupation: All sites MUST be occupied each night. You may not pay for these sites and leave your belongings in them without nightly occupancy. Property left unattended for 24 hours will be considered abandoned. Leave No Trace: The wheels of all vehicles and trailers must be within the designated parking space and not on the roadway or vegetation. Do not attach wires, ropes, or nails to trees or shrubs. Digging, leveling, or other alterations of the ground is not permitted.
