The warming cabin was built by Forest Service employees and a Senior Citizen Supplemental Employment Program (SCSEP) crew. This cabin is located open to the public. It has tables inside, a wood burning stove a vault toilet and an outdoor fire ring.

No. Frater Lake Cabin Day Use Area charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
From Colville, WA: Follow state route 20 for 29 miles east to the trailhead. cabin is 1/2 mile North of trailhead.
