This forested campground, along Early Winters Creek, is a popular site from spring through late fall when the snow begins to fall. The campground is divided by State Route 20 with campsites available on either the north or south side of the highway. Easy access to Mazama and many trails in the scenic highway corridor. Access to the Methow Community Trail for biking or walking in to Mazama.

No. Early Winters Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
Located on North Cascades National Scenic Highway 20. Drive west from Winthrop on Highway 20 for 15 miles to Early Winters Campground. There are campsites on both the south side of the Highway 20 and on the north side of the Highway 20.
Maximum stay limit is 14 days. Before fishing, check Washington State Fishing Regulations, as Early Winters Creek is closed to fishing.
