From Pomeroy, Washington (39 minutes):; Starting on Main; St. in Pomeroy head east out of town on US Highway 12 for 10 miles. Just; before the crest of the Alpowa Summit, turn right onto Sweeney Gulch; Road, go for 8.3 miles where the road; becomes Washington; Highway 128 east for 3 more miles. Take a slight right onto Forest Service Road 42 (Iron Springs Road; ((graveled)); ); for 8.2 miles. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 125 and; the enterence to; Big Springs will be on your left.From Clarkston, Washington (72 minutes):Starting at US Highway 12 (Bridge Street) head out of town west bound ; for 20.9 miles. Take a left turn onto (Sweeney Gulch Road) ; go for 8.3 miles where the road; becomes Washington; Highway 128 east for 3 more miles. Take a slight right onto Forest Service Road 42 (Iron Springs Road; ((graveled)); ); for 8.2 miles. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 125 and; the enterence to; Big Springs will be on your left.
