Moosehorn Campground is located just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway on the shores of Moosehorn Lake at an elevation of 10,400 feet. The byway cuts through the Uinta Mountains, which are known for their abundant recreational opportunities and scenic beauty.

No. Moosehorn Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
From Salt Lake City, Utah, take Highway 80 east for 30 miles to Highway 40. Go south on Highway 40 for a mile to the Kamas exit. Go southeast on Highway 189 for 12 miles, then turn east on Highway 150 and travel 31 miles to the campground.
