Lake Canyon Recreation Area is located along Utah 's scenic Energy Loop on top of the Wasatch Plateau off Hwy 31 approximately 18 miles east of Fairview, Utah. Situated between Huntington and Cleveland Reservoirs at an approximate elevation of 9,000 feet, this area is a fishing and ATV paradise. Vault toilets are provided, but there is no water, electricity, sewer hookups, or garbage service. This is a " pack it in, pack it out" site, so all trash must be removed upon departure. This area has five reservable group sites, and four reservable double sites(#11, 17, 24 & 41). If sites are not reserved, they are available on a first come, first served basis. There are approximately 50 other sites in the area and are available on a first come, first served basis.

From Fairview, Utah head northwest on Hwy. 31 for approximately 19 miles. The campground is 1/3 mile past Huntington Reservoir and will be on the right hand side of the road. Located just south of Utah Highway 31 on Miller Flat Road. The Miller Flat road connects HWY 31 with Joes Valley Reservoir 21 miles to the south. From Huntington, Utah head northwest on Hwy. 31 for approximately 29.5 miles. The campground is 1/2 mile past Cleveland Reservoir and will be on the left hand side of the road. Once you turn off of Hwy 31 onto Millers Flat Road, Lake Canyon Campground sites and spurs and be seen on both sides of the road. There are 3 kiosks that are road side along Millers Flat Road that can provide site orientation, payment information, and general forest information.
