Hoop Lake Campground is located 35 miles south of Mountain View, WY at an elevation of 9,000 feet. It's located in the Uinta Mountains on the shores of its beautiful mountain lake namesake. Campers are drawn to the area to boat and fish in the lake and to hike or horseback ride on the many trails.

How do I get to Hoop Lake Campground?

From Mountain View, WY, take State Rt. 414 east 24.6 (25 min). Turn right onto County Rd. 295 (oiled gravel). Follow County Road 295, 4.4 miles (13 min) into Utah. Turn left CY and stay on road through private property 2.9 miles (11 min)onto Forest Service Road 078 (North Slope Road) Follow FR 078, 4 miles (35 min) then you will arrive at your destination on the right.
