The Cassidy Bridge Hunt Camp is located in a nicely wooded area along the banks of the Chauga River, one of the popular fishing streams on the district. During big-game and turkey hunting seasons, the campground is opened free of charge. During the rest of the year, the camp is available by reservation.

No. Cassidy Bridge Hunt Camp charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
From Walhalla, SC, drive 5 miles north on Highway 28. Turn left on Whetstone Road, and follow it for three quarters of a mile to Cassidy Bridge Road. Turn left on Cassidy Bridge Road, and follow it for 5 miles to the campground.
