Westview shelter is an easy one-mile ski from the Gold Lake Sno-park and provides access to the Westview Snow Trail System. The shelter is open for day use and overnight stays. It has a sleeping loft, a wood stove, wood picnic table and gravel floor. Overnight maximum capacity is four persons.

Yes. Westview Shelter is free to use. It is managed by the USFS.
From Oakridge, follow Highway 58 east for 28 miles to the Gold Lake Sno Park. Leaving your vehicle in the parking area, continue down the road at the back of the parking area and follow the signs to Westview Shelter.
