This 18 site campground adjacent to large sand dune area at Sand Lake is a popular off highway vehicle (OHV) campground with dune and beach access. Campsites are paved. Some sites have fire rings. Sites without fire rings must have raised fire pits.

How do I get to West Winds Campground?

Located 17 miles south of Tillamook. From Tillamook drive south Highway 101, turn right on County Road 871 (Sandlake Road) 4 miles to stop sign. Continue on Sandlake Road by turning left for 1 mile, then right on Galloway Road. Site is at the end of Galloway Road in Sand Lake Recreation Area.
