The mixed conifers at 16 site (14 single, 2 multiple) Slide Creek Campground provide a beautiful wooded setting for this unique camping destination along the east bank of the Cougar Reservoir just 50 miles from Eugene, Oregon. Both campground and the day use area guests have access to drinking water, vault toilets, a boat ramp, ample parking and a swimming beach. A separate parking lot is available for boat trailers. The campsites can accommodate tents, trailers or RVs and come equipped with campfire rings and picnic tables. Enjoy boating and other water activities on the reservoir or a soak in nearby Terwilliger Hot Springs

No. Slide Creek Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
From Blue River, OR, travel 4 miles east on Highway 126 to Aufderheide Drive (Forest Road 19). Proceed south on Aufderheide Drive, turning right at the Y and climbing to the top of Cougar Reservoir. Continue south on Aufderheide Drive for 8 miles to Forest Road 500.Turn left on Forest Road 500 and continue north for 1.5 miles to Slide Creek Campground and Day Use Area.
Camping is restricted to developed campgrounds in the Cougar Recreation Area.Camping is not allowed more than 14 days in a 60 day period.Check-in time: 2:00 pm or later. Check-out time: 1:00 pm; Use of chainsaws in the campground is prohibited Dogs MUST be on leash
