Ochoco Ranger Rental House is located 25 miles northeast of Prineville, Oregon. Nestled under big ponderosa pines, the rental sits in upper Ochoco Valley at the location of the former Ochoco Ranger Station, which has now been removed. This scenic location offers easy access to Lookout Mountain Trail #804, Walton Lake, Big Summit Prairie and the heart of the scenic Ochoco National Forest.

No. Ochoco Ranger Rental Cabin charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
From Prineville: Travel approximately 13 miles east on Highway 26. Turn right at the junction to Ochoco Ranger Station ( County Road 123), and continue for approximately 7.5 miles. Turn left onto Forest Service Road 2610, which is just past the restrooms on your left. Drive past Ochoco Creek and then make an immediate left turn. The Ochoco Ranger Rental House will be the first structure on your right. 33689 Ochoco Ranger Station Loop.
