How do I get to Eightmile Campground?
From Dufur, OR ¿¿¿ Follow Dufur Valley Road until you reach the forest boundary, where the road turns into Forest Road (FR) 44. Continue on FR 44 and turn right onto FR 4430. The campground is on the right-hand side of FR 4430. (Total distance: 17.5 miles) From Hood River, OR ¿¿¿ Drive approximately 25 miles south on Highway 35. Turn left onto Forest Road (FR) 44 and drive about 10 miles. Turn left onto FR 4430. Campground will be on the right-hand side of FR 4430. From Portland, OR ¿¿¿ Drive 41 miles east on Highway 26 and merge onto Highway 35 North. Continue approximately 13 miles on Highway 35 and then turn right onto Forest Road (FR) 44. Drive about 10 miles and then turn left onto FR 4430. Campground will be on the right-hand side of FR 4430.
