Then two miles south on a gravel county road. During the winter months or when the road conditions are impassable, renter must park at the designated parking area and hike, snowmobile, ski, or snow snowshoe approximately 1 mile to the cabin. Please respect the adjacent owners property and do not block the driveway. Summer (or when snow is melted and road is passable), you can drive to the cabin. Party size is limited to eight.The property Zips Place (cabin) sits on was originally part of a homestead granted in 1937. In 1945 the land was bought by the Kimmet family of Cut Bank, MT and in 1954 they constructed the cabin that resides there today. Zips has rustic accommodations including vault toilet, electric stove, refrigerator, lights, electric and propane heat, pots pans, utensils cutlery, dishes, and cleaning items. Zips party size is eight with two double beds and four twin beds. Please clean the cabin, empty the refrigerator and pack out what you brought including your garbage. Grizzly Bears live in the area store your food, beverages, coolers, and garbage inside the cabin. A small stream runs behind the cabin. The cabin is available June 1st to March 31st. Commercial use of the cabins is prohibited (outfitter guides, groups or organizations with compensated leaders/chaperons). Pets are allowed. Please pick up after your pet!

Zips cabin is located 48 miles east of Hungry Horse, MT between mile markers 191 and 192 on US Highway 2. Travel south 2 miles on Geifer Creek (Lodgepole Lane) gravel county road veering left initially. Follow the signs to Zips cabin. During the winter months or when the road conditions are impassable, renters must park at the designated parking area and hike, snowmobile, ski, or snowshoe approximately 1 mile to the cabin. Please respect the adjacent land owners property and do not block the driveway. Summer (or when snow is melted and road is passable), you can drive to the cabin.
