About this place
This facility is available only in the winter, and the area offers both motorized and non-motorized recreation opportunities. It is a completely restored ranger station facility with very comfortable heating, kitchen area, and refinished wood floors.

How do I get to Monture Cabin?
From the Junction of Montana highways 83 and 200 (locally known as "Clearwater Junction") travel east on Hwy 200 for 12.5 miles. Turn north on FS Road #89 (Monture Creek Road) and go 7.5 miles, cross the bridge over Monture Creek and proceed slightly to the left for about 100 yards to a small parking area (just a small plowed out area on the right for about 2-3 vehicles).
