The campground is located in a lodgepole forest along the north side of the 54 acre Lower Miner Lake.

No. Miner Lake Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
From Jackson take Highway 278 South for 1/2 mile. Then take County Road 182 west 6.75 miles, continue west 3.25 miles on Forest Road 182 to the campground. The Forest Service road is gravel and is rutted in several places.
16 day stay limit throughout the Beaverhead-Deerlodge NF.
