The Paddy Flat Guard Station is situated in a remote, scenic meadow at 5,300'. Local recreation opportunities include: hiking, biking, horseback riding, and OHV routes. The Paddy Flat Guard Station Cabin (West) includes a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with flush toilet, shower, and sink. The cabin has propane heat and running water. It sleeps four people.

No. Paddy Flat West Rental Cabin charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through fs.usda.gov.
From McCall, drive approximately 9 miles south on State Highway 55. Paddy Flat Road will be a left turn (east). This is Forest Road #388. Follow road #388 approximately 5 miles to Paddy Flat Summit. At the summit take Forest Road #389, which is a slight turn to the right. Follow Forest Road #389 approximately 3 miles to the Paddy Flat Guard Station. The road is gravel and narrow in places, so please use caution and obey speed limits.
