Mountain View Campground is located just east of Lowman, Idaho, along Highway 21 at an elevation of 3,900 feet. Visitors enjoy rafting, kayaking and fishing on the South Fork Payette River, and soaking in the area's many hot springs pools.

No. Mountain View Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
From Boise, Idaho, travel north along State Highway 55 to Banks, Idaho appoximately 38 miles. At Banks, turn right (east) onto State Highway 17 (Banks/Lowman Road) and travle 31 miles to Lowman, Idaho. At Lowman, turn left at the intersection of State Highway 17 and State Highway 21. Proceed towards Stanley, Idaho along State Highway 21. Mountain View Campground is on the right about a mile further at milepost 73.2 on State Highway 21.
Maximum consecutive stay is 14 days.
