Gold Meadows Cabin is located seven miles from the Eagle Mountain portal of the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness just off the Eagle Mountain Trail and along the Long Lake Trail. The cabin was originally called the Gold Meadows Ranger Station. It is a well-preserved example of the early Forest Service era.
