About this place

Two dispersed camping areas located on beautiful Elk Lake area. One campsite is at the south end of Elk Lake and another is located at The Narrows of Elk Lake. A vault toilet is located at each location.

Yes. this site is free to use. It is managed by the USFS. It is a dispersed area, so there are no hookups, no water and no trash service unless a report below says otherwise.

How do I get to this site?

The dispersed camping areas are located approximately 50 miles east of Monida on NFSR 628.The area can also be accessed from Henry's Lake to the west.

What are the rules at this site?

16 day stay limit. 2022 Beaverhead - Deerlodge Food Storage Order must be followed.
