This campground is on NFSR125 off Park County Route 58 from US Highway 285. The campground has 30 sites, and is divided into two loops. Facilities include vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings.All dates are weather dependent. Dates of operation below are dates visitors may expect full service. The area also has an extended season when services such as water, trash or a host may not be available through December 31, 2021.

No. Timberline Group Campground charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.

How do I get to Timberline Group Campground?

Approximately 5 miles west of Grant on US Highway 285, turn right at Park County Road 58. Approximately a mile up County Road 58 turn right onto NFSR 125 and continue on road to the camp area. Both Park County Route 58 and NFSR 125 are gravel roads, open to licensed vehicles only .

What are the rules at Timberline Group Campground?

The following restrictions apply to this campground: Dogs must be leashed at all times. Maximum 8 persons per site: 2 tents and 2 vehicles or 1 recreation vehicle. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground. Camping is NOT ALLOWED behind a LOCKED GATE. Users must reserve the area in advance by calling 1-877-444-6777 or by going online at www.recreation.gov.
