Pines Campground is located 25 miles southeast of Walden in the Gould Area, adjacent to the South Fork of the Michigan River, a scenic mountain stream. It sits at an elevation of 9,200 feet.Pines Campground has 11 campsites. The campground offers drinking water, campfire rings, toilets and has a scenic mountain stream. Keep the pines pristine by remembering to pack out your garbage.This campground is managed by Parks Ranger District in Walden, COPHONE NUMBER: 970-723-8204MAX VEHICLE TRAILER SIZE: 20 feetNOTE: Water is generally not turned on at this campground until mid to late June, campers should come prepared with enough water. Directions from Walden: Head east on Highway14 for 22 miles to Gould. Take County Road 21 (Forest Road 740) south 4 miles to the campground. Follow the signs.
