Hidden Valley Campground is located between the Powderhorn and La Garita Wilderness Areas and is great for folks interested in hiking and backpacking. This small campground is designed for tent camping only. Most campsites are walk-in sites, accessed by footbridge over Cebolla Creek. The campground lies in a narrow canyon with spruce, fir and aspen trees along the creek.

Yes. Hidden Valley Campground is free to use. It is managed by the USFS.
From Lake City, CO, drive south on State Highway 149 to Forest Road 788. Turn left on Forest Road 788 and drive six miles to the campground, past Deer Lakes Campground.
This is bear country: campers must properly store food and other attractants.
