Designated camping area in the Gothic Corridor, close to Crested Butte and the Gothic Campground. 14 semi-primitive sites are available. Camping is allowed only in designated sites. Each site has a tent pad, picnic table, and fire ring and is marked with a unit marker. A vault toilet is available nearby.

Yes. Gothic Camping Area is free to use. It is managed by the USFS.
Take CO Highway 135 north, past Crested Butte and Mount Crested Butte. Continue on Gothic Road and past the Gothic Townsite to the camping area.
This is bear country: campers must properly store food and other attractants.
