About this place

Meeks Bay Campground is uniquely situated between the two California State Parks of Sugar Point Park and D.L. Bliss on the west shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe. There is also easy access into Desolation Wilderness for excellent day hiking and backpacking. Standing BBQ ' s and fire rings at all sites please use fire areas provided at each campsite and do not build additional fire rings.

Meeks Bay Campground is located on Highway 89 approximately 10 miles south of Tahoe City and Eightmile north of Emerald Bay, on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe.

What are the rules at Meeks Bay Campground?

Maximum vehicle length is 20 feet. Maximum group size per site is 6 people and 1 vehicle; please park your vehicles in the designated camping spots only. Additional vehicles will be charged $5 per car. Pets are allowed on a leash in the campground area
