This is a beautiful campground with good river access. Lower Hayden Flat is open year round. Upper Hayden Flat is open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Facility has a self-registration/fee station at the entrance.

How do I get to Hayden Flat Campground?
From the Big Bar Ranger Station, travel east on Hwy 299 through the community of Big Bar. Proceed 7 miles through the town of Del Loma, continuing east 1 more mile to the campground. Part of the campground will be on the north side of 299 and will be marked by a Forest Service sign. The other portion is located just east, approximately 1/8 mile and will be on the south side of Hwy 299.
