Campground is adjacent to the Eel River Work Center. There are 15 sites and two pull-throughs to accomodate larger trailers up to 24 feet. Setting is among large oak trees, shrubs and some poison oak. Vault toilets and water are available for campers. A steep path provides access to the river. After heavy snowmelt, expect the river to have strong currents, cold water, and sudden water level changes. Life vests recommended.
