Situated along the Gila-Pinal Scenic Route, Oak Flat campground is located in the rolling hills near Devil's Canyon. There is an abundance of large oak trees that provide natural shade. The surrounding area is known for its numerous recreation bouldering opportunities. Families and individuals like to come to this site for its natural desert beauty and rock climbing.

Yes. Oak Flat Campground is free to use. It is managed by the USFS.
This site is 4 miles east of Superior. From Superior, travel east for 3 miles on US Highway 60 and turn right (south) on Forest Road 469 (partially paved). Travel approximately 1 mile and turn left into the site.
14-day stay limit. Fires in designated areas only, when fires are allowed. Trailers under 30 feet. There are no trash services. Dispose of waste properly. Pack It In, Pack It Out. Leave what you find. Quiet hours 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (running generators are not permitted during quiet hours).
