About this place

Kentucky Camp Cabin and Headquarters consists of five adobe buildings, one of which may be rented. The rental cabin is rustic with no indoor plumbing, but has an outdoor sink and drinking water available from a nearby spigot. Maximum number of people per night is 5. The Headquarters building contains exhibits on the local mining era and is open to the public. Both buildings are remnants of a historic gold placer mining operation that predates the establishment of the Coronado National Forest in 1908.
