Located within the Stikine-LeConte Wilderness, the Twin Lakes Cabin is a 16 ' x 16 ' A-frame cabin with sleeping loft and partially covered front porch. An approximately 500 foot path leads from the cabin site to the Twin Lakes Picnic Site, which is a popular waterplay area for Wrangell residents on warm days. Amenities include 2 single bunks (1 w/ trundle), a wooden table and benches, and oil space heater. The heater requires #1 stove oil only, which is NOT provided. Bring stove oil, bedding, cook stove, lanterns and utensils. Wilderness restrictions apply.

No. Twin Lakes Cabin charges a fee. It is managed by the USFS. Sites are reservable through recreation.gov.
Cabin is located at the mouth of Twin Lakes Slough on the N side of the Stikine River. Access is by shallow draft boat NE of Wrangell and 18 miles up the Stikine River. Low river levels can limit access to the cabin and lakes.
